Solid Feel

SolidFeel® Access Floor Systems exceed all performance criteria without sacrificing aesthetics, acoustics, safety or stability. Floor panels are either cement filled (SolidFeel®) or all-steel open cell construction (Severn). Their innovative and unique designs are ideally suited to specific office, computer room or clean room applications.
SolidFeel® Systems have the versatility of allowing panels with different load characteristics to be placed exactly where they are required within the same understructure.

SolidFeel® panels measure 600mm x 600mm. Panels are resistance welded before being filled with a cementitious fill. Each panel has square reinforcing pockets on the underside, which enhance the structural strength. The isotropic design, which is unique to the SolidFeel® panels, gives excellent load distribution properties. SolidFeel panels are non-combustible and coated with either powder coated or electro coated conductive paint.

SolidFeel® panels can be fitted into any SolidFeel® understructure and a wide range of floor coverings are available.

S/L - Snap Loc System

Snap Lock System

Used primarely in specialised environments, eg. Server and Data rooms. Lateral and system stability ensure that the removal and replacing of panels are easy and does not disturb the system as a whole.

Used primarely in secure environments, eg. Server, data and vault rooms. Primarily used in casino environments.

Carries the panel and levels out the floor by making small height adjustments. Note: The head is modified by drilling and tapping the head.

Carries the stringers and panels at the perimeter to ensure a perfect fit.

A PVC strip that fits over the stringer to ensure that metal-to-metal noise is eliminated at the perimeter.

L/L - Low Loc System

Snap Lock System

Used primarely in areas where the room can only accommodate a very low plenum.

Components:

Low loc assembly

Determines the FFL or FFH through the base and the threaded rod.

With panel loc screw

The formed steel head carries the panel which is screwed to the head with panel loc screws.

With stringer and gasket and panel loc screw

The stringer is screwed to the head through the corners of the stringers.
  • The gasket ensures that metal-to-metal noise is eliminated.
  • The panel rests on the head between the stringers.

Panel

Isotropic tile that fits onto the heads of the system to provide the area of the raised access floor. Can be fininshed in various finishes or left bare for on-site coverings.

Die cast aluminium head with a threaded rod.

  • Height is adjustable through a nut being secured by a second one.
  • Nuts can be e-coated on request.

  • Stringer is a metal channel that clips over the head to add stability
  • Gasket is a PVC strip that fits over the stringer to ensure that metal-to-metal noise is eliminated

F/S with head gasket

  • Head gasket fits securely over the head to ensure a tight fit and to that any metal-to-metal noise is eliminated

  • Panel Loc Screw fits securely through the panel corners into the head to ensure a secure lock whilst still making it possible to access the floor by loosening all the screws before removing a panel.
